About Tyler
In 2023 I began my professional culinary career at Newport Restaurant Group: Castle Hill Inn, a fine dining 2 Michelin Key hotel/inn. Here I became a station lead in the fine casual section as an intern and continued to make my way up to a chef de partie in the fine dining section. I also built line cook and station management experience, learning how to regulate prep pars and basic inventory skills.
I earned my Associates of Science in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in 2024.
In 2024 as well, I began working at FLIK Corporate Dining as a contracted chef to their ESPN account in Bristol, CT. Here I was hired as a cook, working my way into a management training program. Here I would help serve over 500 guests with a vast variety of custom meals, while maintaining excellent customer service and high-quality products.
