About Carleta
Carleta was born and raised in the island of Jamaica, immigrated to the USA and lived in CT since 1988. She served in the Army reserve and has worked with the Veterans Health Administration since 1997 as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. She has served veterans in several roles including Technical Specialist in molecular diagnostics, Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, and Laboratory Education Program Manager/Program Director. As a member of Achilles International CT chapter, she helps disabled athletes participate in running events including several marathons. Carleta’s passion is to help others to reach their personal goals. She believes that learning is much more meaningful if you can make connections between things that are seemingly unconnected.
